on june 30th 2013 19 members of the granite mountain interagency hotshot crew lost their lives fighting the yarnell hill fire. this dealt a devastating blow to All of us arizonians, firefighters and first responders.
one hotshot survived that day and was left to carry the legacy of his lost brothers, brendan mcdonough.
we worked closely with brendan on every aspect of the design from the model name and serial numbers to the colors and components. we also worked with him to select the charities that would best benefit wildland firefighters.
we are donating 100% of the proceeds from the first 19 rifles to the wildland firefighter foundation.
we are donating 50% of the proceeds from rifles 21-9999 to the WFF as well as several other firefighter non profits.
these rifles are 100% hand built in phoenix arizona using battle tested components made by proud and free americans. these rifles feature our mil spec receiver sets and our lightweight free float mlok hand guards. we also used our match grade 5.56 barrels, Nitride Bolt Carriers, recoil management system and 3.5# Match Trigger.
from all of us at BTE, we feel blessed to be a part of honoring the granite mountain interagency hotshot crew.
